After several weeks of delay in delivery by the manufacturer we had over 15 000 worth of pgt sliding glass doors installed in our condo not knowing that they do not block sound if you are facing the ocean and above the first floor. I spent over 22k on all brand new pgt sliding glass doors and had to have them replace 5 of my 12 glass panels already within the first year due to stress fractures and fogging hazing within the glass panels. The overall rating of the company is 3 6 and consumers are mostly neutral.
